Last week we were notified of the positive evaluation of two Horizon Europe projects, presented in October 2021, in Cluster 6 (“Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”).

With EU4Advice, we will continue to work with the short chain, in the continuity of SMARTCHAIN, contributing to the development of a European network of advisors on producer-consumer chains. The project is coordinated by the AMS Institute (NL), and brings together 21 partners from 13 countries. The main objective is to settle the foundations and social structures required to ensure an effective capacity building of the actors of short food supply chains, through a fluid transfer of knowledge.

InnOBreed, coordinated by CIHEAM-IAMB (IT), joints 21 organizations (universities, technological centres, associations of producers, etc.) from 10 countries. Its main goal is to promote and aggregate Innovative Solutions focussed on the participative development of fruit varieties and on a fruit plant production system dedicated to the organic farming system.

In both, Innogestiona Ambiental is responsible for project impact assessment work package. Furthermore, in EU4Advice, we will support AMS Institute in project management and coordination tasks, lead the networking and collaborations with sister projects, as well as the elaboration of the policy roadmap. In InnOBreed, we will be in charge of the development of reference business models, with a view to exploiting the results of the project, and we will contribute to the development of social innovations in the fruit sector.
