Badajoz, 13 June 2024 – We are pleased to announce the Multiplier Event entitled “The situation of mobility and services in rural areas”. This event will take place on 13 June 2024 at El Hospital Centro Vivo, located in Plaza Minayo, 06002 Badajoz, from 10:00 to 13:00.
The main objective of the event is to analyse and discuss the various issues and solutions related to mobility and services in rural areas, crucial aspects for the development and sustainability of these communities.
Agenda of the Event
The day will begin with a welcome and presentation of the E+ Mobirural project, in which the objectives and progress of the project to date will be presented. Afterwards, experts in rural mobility will give presentations on the most relevant innovations and challenges in this field. Topics to be discussed include:
Rural Transport Infrastructure: Assessment of roads and public transport networks in rural areas.
Accessible Public Services: Solutions to improve access to essential services such as health, education and commerce.
Technology and Mobility: Use of innovative technologies to improve mobility in rural areas.
Successful Projects: Examples of successful projects to improve rural mobility.
After the presentations, there will be a round table and open debate, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences and suggestions. This space aims to foster the exchange of ideas and collaboration between participants, who come from a variety of sectors, including local governments, non-governmental organisations, academics and community members.
The event will conclude with a networking session, which will allow attendees to make valuable contacts and explore possible future collaborations.
