From 22 to 24 November, Badajoz was the epicentre of the fourth face-to-face meeting of the Mobirural project, where the key partners gathered: ITS, IKEM, Fenice, the Provincial Council of Badajoz and Innogestiona Ambiental. The main focus was the validation of the project’s training platform, marking a significant milestone in its development.

The first day of the event took place in the distinguished Felipe Trigo hall of the Provincial Council. During this session, the project partners gathered to discuss in detail the current status of the platform and to map out the next crucial steps for the success of the project.

The second day was attended by more than 25 participants, including 10 local development agents and representatives of several key entities, such as the Energy Agency of Extremadura (Agenex), the Department of Transport and Mobility of the Regional Government of Extremadura, and the Department of Ecological Transition of the Provincial Council of Badajoz. In addition, mobility experts, invited by each project partner, joined the conference. At PROMEDIO’s premises, the presentation of the platform generated a space for exchanging opinions and suggestions on the project’s approach and training, arousing genuine interest among the attendees and partner entities.

The last day was dedicated to a meeting with the invited experts. During this meeting, opinions were shared, improvements were proposed and errors identified in both the platform and the content generated were corrected. The day culminated with a project coordination meeting, consolidating progress and establishing a clear path towards continued success.

Successful Results and Commitment to Excellence

The meeting was not only a forum to evaluate the platform, but also an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between partners and stakeholders. This dynamic event laid the foundation for significant progress in the project, marking a firm commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in sustainable rural mobility.
