On 28 April, the Regional Government of Extremadura officially presented the Extremadura Sustainable Mobility Plan, a strategic initiative that will shape the future of transport in the region. With an expected investment of 1.89 billion euros up to 2030, the plan seeks to transform mobility by investing in more efficient, safer, more accessible and more environmentally friendly means of transport.
Its main objectives include reducing the use of private vehicles, promoting public transport, encouraging active mobility and improving infrastructure for electric vehicles, thus contributing to the reduction of emissions and the territorial balance between urban and rural areas.
On behalf of Innogestiona Ambiental and TEMA Ingeniería, the companies awarded the tender for the development of the plan, we would like to express our pride and satisfaction at having contributed to shaping this roadmap. After months of technical work, dialogue and active listening, we are delighted that this ambitious project is getting underway.
