Brussels, 3–4 September 2025 – The European Net0Manager project, which seeks to train SME managers and entrepreneurs in carbon management strategies, held its fourth and final transnational meeting (TPM4) in Brussels.

Day 1 – SME2B Business Forum 2025

The first day was dedicated to the SME2B Business Forum 2025, a space that brought together European business leaders and representatives to discuss the transition to climate neutrality.

  • Keynote speeches by Christoph Ahlhaus (BVMW), Jorge Portugal (COTEC Portugal) and Stefan Moritz (CEA-PME).
  • Presentations by the European Commission on clean growth policies and their impact on SMEs.

Panels on scalable solutions for SMEs, business alliances and the official presentation of the Net0Manager project tools.

  • The day culminated with the launch of the ‘SMEs for Net0’ alliance and a networking event at the SME Summer Party.

Day 2 – Final evaluation of the project

The second day focused on the final results:

  • Presentation of the results of the pilot tests of the Training Toolkit and the online platform.
  • The Hétfa Institute presented the Policy Brief on the qualification of carbon managers.
  • Review of the dissemination and communication activities and administrative closure of the project. The meeting concluded with a question and answer session, feedback and agreements on the next steps.

With this meeting, Net0Manager concludes two years of joint work, offering European SMEs new skills and digital tools to lead the transition to a Net Zero economy.
