On 16 and 17 July, Innogestiona Ambiental will take part in the organisation of the ENNEPlus International Round Table, an international event bringing together project partners, experts and Vocational Education and Training (VET) professionals in Cascia, Italy, to exchange experiences and discuss strategies for ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of the results achieved through ENNEPlus.
The round table will provide a platform for discussing how innovative learning methodologies can strengthen the skills required for the green and digital transition. Participants will present the project’s main achievements, including the Eco-Digithon methodology, the Community of Practice, the Social Incubation Programme, and the long-term action plans designed to ensure that the project’s outcomes continue beyond its lifetime.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentations by the five winning teams of the 2025–2026 Eco-Digithon, who will showcase the digital and technological solutions they have developed to address real environmental challenges within their local communities. These initiatives are the result of a collaborative process of training, mentoring and innovation that has enabled VET students and institutions to strengthen their technical, entrepreneurial, digital and green competences.
The second day will feature an interactive World Café session, during which participants will work together to identify recommendations and practical actions for replicating and scaling up the ENNEPlus approach in other European countries and educational contexts.
Over the past two years, the ENNEPlus project has developed the Eco-Digithon, an innovative educational marathon designed primarily for VET providers, where participants collaborate to design and prototype digital solutions to real environmental and societal challenges. To date, the initiative has engaged 82 VET teams from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria and Türkiye, demonstrating the potential of European cooperation to foster innovation and equip learners with the skills needed for a more sustainable future.
As an organisation committed to innovation, sustainability and European cooperation, Innogestiona Ambiental is proud to contribute to this international forum, fostering knowledge exchange among educational institutions, organisations and experts while supporting the development of practical solutions to the challenges of the green and digital transition.
The ENNEPlus International Round Table has been recognised as an official event of the European Skills & VET Week 2026, an initiative of the European Commission promoting excellence in vocational education and training, lifelong learning, and the development of the skills required for Europe’s green and digital transitions.
