On 10 and 11 June 2026, Innogestiona Ambiental took part in the international activities of the European project We Want More (WWM) held in Belgrade, Serbia, represented by our colleague Juan Pablo.
Innogestiona Ambiental is involved in the project as a subcontracted organisation, supporting several activities related to the management, monitoring and dissemination of results within this European initiative, which aims to promote greater inclusion and participation in the fields of performing arts and culture.
The programme began with the Belgrade Focus Group, organised by PLAVO Theatre and curated by the cultural association EUTOPIA, under the theme “Creating, Programming and Sustaining Inclusive Theatre that Engages with Mental Health On Stage and Behind It”. The event brought together European partners, cultural professionals, social organisations and representatives from the arts sector to exchange experiences and discuss inclusive theatre models and mental health. Throughout the day, participants took part in panel discussions, collaborative sessions and ideation activities focused on developing innovative approaches to cultural inclusion.
Participants also attended the open rehearsal of “Odyssey – An Inner Journey”, an inclusive theatre production developed within the framework of the We Want More project. Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, the performance explores themes of diversity, inclusion and personal development through the performing arts.
On 11 June, the project’s Steering Committee Meeting was held, bringing together project partners to review progress across the various work packages, including project management, communication activities, sustainability actions and the development of methodological guidelines. The meeting also provided an opportunity to assess the outcomes of the Belgrade Focus Group and to plan upcoming activities in Greece and Germany.
Innogestiona Ambiental’s participation in this international meeting reinforces the organisation’s commitment to European projects that promote social innovation, inclusion and citizen participation, while contributing to the exchange of knowledge and good practices among organisations across Europe.
The We Want More project continues to advance its mission of building more accessible, diverse and inclusive cultural spaces, where the performing arts serve as a powerful tool for social transformation and collective well-being.
