Innogestiona Ambiental is pleased to announce important advances in the framework of the Erasmus ENNE+ programme. Currently, we are immersed in the development of a Virtual Platform that will serve as a basis to connect the community of practice and provide a collaborative workspace for the projects that will compete in the national hackathons of the four participating countries: Portugal 🇵🇹, Austria 🇦🇹, Italy 🇮🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸.
In addition, we are working on the ‘Community of Practice Management and Engagement Plan’. This document will be fundamental, as it will represent an operational and strategic framework for the establishment, management and effective implementation of the so-called ENNE+ Community of Practice.

What is a Community of Practice?

According to the book ‘Communities of Practice’ by Etienne Wenger-Trayner, Beverly Wenger-Trayner, Phil Reid and Claude Bruderlein, ‘a community of practice consists of people engaged in a collective learning process in a shared domain of human activity: a tribe learning to survive, a group of artists seeking new forms of expression, a group of engineers working on similar problems, a group of students defining their identity in school, a network of surgeons exploring new techniques, a gathering of beginning managers helping each other to get ahead. ’

The Aim of the ENNE+ Project

In the context of the ENNE+ project, the aim is to create a community of practice for each project related to digital innovation to address specific ecological challenges. Each community of practice will bring together vocational education and training (VET) students and teachers with local stakeholders, facilitating close and effective collaboration.
These communities of practice will be essential to foster shared learning and knowledge exchange, providing an environment in which all participants can actively contribute to and benefit from the collective work.

Next Steps

We will shortly be launching the new Virtual Platform and providing more information about the communities of practice through our social media channels and the official ENNE+ project website. We are excited about the progress made and look forward to sharing it with our entire community.
