Innogestiona Ambiental took part in the National Seminar on Cooperation and Exchange, organised by the RIA CCC project (Network for Exchange and Learning on Short Supply Chains), a meeting that brought together organisations, producers, local action groups, researchers and professionals committed to strengthening local and sustainable food systems.

During the event, Marta Fernández, a specialist at Innogestiona Ambiental, presented the European EU4Advice project, an initiative funded by the European Union and led by Innogestiona, which aims to strengthen agricultural advisory systems through cooperation, innovation and the exchange of knowledge among different stakeholders in the European agri-food sector.

The presentation provided context for the situation of short supply chains in Europe, addressing the main challenges and opportunities faced by producers, consumers and support organisations in the current transition towards food systems that are more sustainable, resilient and connected to the local area.

It also highlighted the role played by agricultural advisory systems within the AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems) approach, facilitating knowledge transfer, innovation and the adoption of new solutions by the agri-food sector.

The seminar provided a forum for the exchange of experiences and best practices between initiatives from different regions, fostering the creation of synergies and the identification of opportunities for collaboration to promote more sustainable production and marketing models.

Innogestiona Ambiental’s participation in this event reinforces its commitment to rural innovation, European cooperation and support for initiatives that contribute to the development of fairer, more efficient and sustainable food chains.

Through projects such as EU4Advice, Innogestiona continues to work towards connecting knowledge, innovation and the local area, promoting solutions that address the current challenges facing the European agri-food sector.
