Last Wednesday saw the laying of the first joint foundation stone for three new photovoltaic plants in the municipality of Badajoz. The event was attended by the Regional Minister for Ecological Transition and Sustainability, Olga García, and the Director General of Industry, Energy and Mines, Samuel Ruiz.

After a long process of environmental processing and negotiations between companies, Naturgy’s ‘Encinar I’, ‘Naipes’ and ‘Naipes II’ plants have now been given the green light to begin their construction phase. These plants will have an individual capacity of 50 MW and a combined production of 315 GWh/year.

We thank Naturgy for inviting us to this event and for giving us the opportunity to carry out the processing of the Environmental Impact Studies of the projects, the urban qualification, as well as choosing us as the environmental coordinating entity for the construction phase of the plants.

We support the progress towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy model, therefore, from Innogestiona we will continue working and giving the best of us to offer a service of excellence.
